The deal, in one paragraph

You pay hairDose a subscription. You keep 100% of what your customers pay you — we take no commission and never touch the money, because customers pay you directly by UPI or your own payment link. What you get is discovery, bookings, a calendar, customer records and reviews.

Listing your business

You confirm that you are entitled to run the business you are listing, that you hold the licences and registrations your services require, and that the person creating the account is authorised to bind the business.

Everything on your listing must be true: services, prices, hours, address, and photos of work actually done at your venue by your staff. Stock imagery is fine when it is clearly decorative; passing off another salon's work as yours is not, and it is the most common reason we delist.

A verified badge means we checked one specific thing, and says nothing more. You may not claim we endorse or guarantee your work.

Payments — yours and ours

Your customers pay you. You publish your own UPI ID or payment link and it is shown at booking. Money moves between you and the customer; hairDose is not an intermediary, an escrow, or a payment aggregator, and never holds customer funds. Collecting the right amount, issuing receipts, GST, and returning money when you should are all yours.

Deposits you ask for go to your own account. State your deposit rule on your listing, and honour it. Keeping a deposit after cancelling on the customer yourself will cost you the listing.

Your subscription is billed monthly or annually and renews until you cancel. Cancel from the dashboard; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. A failed payment gives you a grace period, after which the listing is hidden until it clears — existing bookings are honoured, and you can still see your data.

We can change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. If the new price does not suit you, cancel before it takes effect.

Honouring bookings

A confirmed booking is a commitment. Keep your calendar, hours and staff availability accurate — the most damaging thing on a marketplace is a customer arriving to a closed shutter.

When you must cancel, do it as early as you can and through hairDose, so the customer is notified and any deposit is returned. Frequent cancellations, no-shows and unanswered bookings lower your ranking in search, and a sustained pattern ends the listing.

Charge the price you listed. An add-on or a surcharge must be explained and agreed before you do the work.

Customer data you receive

You get a customer's name, phone number and booking details so you can serve them. Use it for that.

Do not sell it, do not pass it to anyone else, and do not add customers to a marketing list they did not join. Where a customer asks you to delete what you hold, do it, keeping only what your own tax and accounting obligations require. You are responsible for this data under Indian law in your own right, not merely through us.

Reviews

You cannot buy, trade for, pressure out, or write your own reviews. We detect it more often than operators expect, and the penalty is removal of the reviews and, on repetition, of the listing.

You can reply publicly to any review, and reporting one you believe is fake or abusive is the right move. We will not remove a review for being negative.

Your staff

Your stylists are your people — your employment, your insurance, your statutory obligations. hairDose is not their employer and takes no part in that relationship.

Only give dashboard access to staff who need it, and remove it when they leave. Actions taken from your account are attributed to your business.

Conduct

Treat customers and our team decently. Harassment of a customer, discriminatory refusal of service, or retaliating against someone for a review ends the relationship immediately and without refund.

Suspension and ending

You can leave at any time; your listing comes down at the end of the paid period, and you can export your customer and booking data before it does.

We may suspend or remove a listing for breach of these terms, for fraud, for safety reasons, or where required by law. Except in the serious cases above we will tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to fix it. Where we remove you for something that is not your fault, we refund the unused part of your subscription.

Liability

hairDose is a listing and booking platform. We do not guarantee any volume of bookings, any ranking, or any level of revenue. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in that period.

You are responsible for the services you perform, and you indemnify us against claims arising from them, from your listing content, and from your handling of customer data.

Nothing here limits liability that Indian law does not permit us to limit.

Law and contact

Governed by the laws of India, with the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
